Born in El Rosario, Sinaloa, Eduardo Quintero accumulated over 15 years of culinary experience before coming on board as the Executive Chef at Austen’s at The Pierpont Inn Ventura.
Growing up, Eduardo saw food as an important way to bring the family together. As a young boy, he would help his mother prepare food for family gatherings. However, it wasn’t until he was 18 years old that he discovered his true passion for the culinary world. He landed a job at the prestigious Ojai Valley Inn and Spa where he quickly moved up and became the lead cook of their fine dining restaurant, Olivella. After 10 years with the Ojai Valley Inn, Eduardo moved to the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. There he continued to grow and further develop his culinary skills.
Chef Eduardo’s favorite part about what he does is being able to provide those that try his food with a unique dining experience. Guests get a taste of his innovation every day at Austen’s.
When he isn’t in the kitchen creating delicious meals, he can be found fishing or spending time with his family.
