We are excited to announce a partnership between The Pierpont Inn and California State University, Chico! Students currently studying Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management with a focus in Special Events and Resort and Lodging Management are fulfilling their prerequisites for a Bachelor of Science Degree right here at The Pierpont Inn and Spa. Every weekend we have a group of excited young volunteers travel from Chico to assist us with every aspect of our events. The efforts are part of the Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management’s Field Schools in which students are connected with community partners throughout California and the West Coast to experience hands on learning while giving back to the community.

Our very own Polly Ann Pareto, Director of Events, is an alumnus of the same department at CSU, Chico and decided to provide the field school opportunity as a way to pay it forward. These hard working students come to share their passion and skills in the event industry, while gaining valuable learning experiences to take with them for their future careers in hospitality management. We feel this partnership will continue to blossom from semester to semester.

Our Director of Events will be delighted to assist you in your selections or to prepare a custom designed menu to suit your individual needs.

In addition to the many services we provide, The Pierpont Inn & Spa and its staff will be honored to organize and oversee every detail along the way with personalized and professional service.

The Pierpont now has a wonderful ocean view venue for small intimate wedding receptions and ceremonies.
