The Historic Pierpont Inn was built back in 1910, in part, to accommodate the auto enthusiast traveling up and down the coast driving the new fangled invention, the automobile. Weary travelers needed a place to rest and recharge with a home cooked meal. Josephine Pierpont rose to the challenge and commissioned famous architect, Sumner P. Hunt to design a Craftsman bungalow style inn.   The property encompasses decades of rich architecture featuring two 1925 English Tudor Revival cottages, a 1935 Spanish Revival Banquet Center and A Mid Century Modern retreat - The 50’s Flat. The romantic coastal charm of the property has made the Pierpont Inn a favorite location for weddings and receptions, family reunions, corporate retreats and great overnight getaways for over 95 years.
